Interests/Hobbies: reading books and decorating magazines, gardening, travel with my hubby – especially long road trips exploring back roads and the country side, needle punch, wool appliqué and penny rugs, stitcheries,
and other colonial inspired crafts and activities such
as stenciling, to enhance our home. I make cards for groups that support cancer patients and our soldiers.
I enjoy having gatherings
of friends and family and making them feel welcome.
Profile: Both a former RN and Preschool Director,
I am the Keeper of the Home and have been happily married since 1975. We are blessed with an adult son and his wife, and our adult daughter. Our son and his wife are making us grandparents for the first time in June 2009. I cannot wait! I have always enjoyed decorating our home and
I am strongly influenced
by Early American and Colonial style found in the historic NE towns around me. I enjoy searching for antiques or good quality reproduction pieces that have a historical influence in their design as well as some primitive folk. Then
I have fun finding the best way to display them. I am often found rearranging and moving things around. I hope you enjoy visiting our home.
