The Holiday Season is upon us. That magical, exciting time of year that has us
all hustling and bustling, shopping, baking, crafting and decorating our homes.

It seems we are all looking for new ideas and inspiration.

So many wonderful members here at A Primitive Place have shared their creativity and talents with us.

For that we are truly grateful.

So here's to many more photos to be taken, more makeovers to be done and more friendships to be made.

We hope you enjoy all of this beautiful Christmas decor. There is lots of eye candy to enjoy and so many inspiring ideas.

All of us at APP want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful blessed New Year.

APP Staff,
Kristine, Sarah, Bonnie, Linda, Char & Dana
Use fabric to soften your displays. Fabric is a great way to soften the look of crocks or jugs. And at holiday time, switch out your fabric to something more festive. Such an easy way to create a new look.

Photo Above: Bring the outdoors in! Bonnie uses fresh greens, holly, winterberries and pinecones in her displays. All add color, texture and fragrance. Remember you can even tuck real greens in with artificial greens to give it that scent we all love.

Lighting is so important, Bonnie captures it perfectly with a soft glow, whether it be by candle light or lamp giving her home a warm and cozy feel.

Photos Right & Below: Theresa uses everyday prim items and incorporates them into her holiday decorating.

Use what you have, be creative. Tuck some greens or berries in and those everyday items are turned into holiday accents.
Bonnie always creates entire gatherings. In one gathering we can get so many ideas. And the important thing is that we may all take away something different from anyone's displays.

Photo Below: Cyanne's home is so cozy and inviting, starting with a fireplace that makes you want to sit right down and stay a while.
Photos Above: Cyanne's walls are done in such rich paint colors that compliment
the colors of the holidays perfectly.

The warm wood tones and brick give such a rustic feel.

Cyanne's Santa collection displayed on the mantle makes such a statement!
The old lantern adds charm and a soft glow.

Notice how there are only two stockings hung on the mantle? What a nice touch!
They add some color without covering up all of that beautiful wood.

Photo right: Rich & Karen's doughboard is filled with holiday goodies. Notice the old wooden box complete with primitive label and the jars with cheesecloth covers tied with twine. So simple and so beautiful!

Photo Left: Here Theresa used her kitchen window as a display space. It looks great, she even added a jar light which gives off the perfect glow.
Photos right:  So much eye candy in this photo...the greens, the white lights and all the wonderful snowman. The primitive little stocking garland is the perfect finish.

Photos below: Muted colors and soft lights accent Rich & Karen's kitchen so beautifully. Tucking greens in around the lights gives it such a cozy holiday look.
Photos left & below:
Cinnamon Stix Candle, can't you just smell it now? And what could be better sitting along side that cande then the aroma of real greens and fresh cranberries.

Photo Above: Kath’s living room is lit up so beautifully. See the reflection of her Christmas tree in her hardwood floor? Notice the quilt shelf on the wall, there is a light on it, but you see no cord, the coverlet cleverly disguises it. What a wonderful open space!

Photo Right: A nostalgic Christmas tree trimmed with colored lights, dried orange slices and candy canes. How fun! Kath and her husband made these exquisite furniture pieces you see on either side of this whimsical tree.

Photo Right: Who says you can’t light up a pegboard! The garland
and lights that Anne has put on this one is so festive. What a great look! Fill it with holiday prims and a loversknot towel and that’s it.

Photo Above: Here is a closer look at the tree. The dried orange slices give off the feeling of stained glass when they are up against the soft glow of the tree lights.
Photo Left: Kath decorated this shelf with some of her wonderful handmade gameboards and sign. What a warm little corner in her holiday home.

Photo Below: Anne’s dining room has just the right touches of Christmas here and there. The richly colored quilted runner compliments her table and chairs so nicely.

Photo Left: This vintage wagon is fabulous! One sprig of whispy greenery in an old jug is all it needs to say Happy Holidays. Use your old bears and dolls in your displays, they add such a personal touch.
Photo Above: Above is Kath’s stunning dining room, she pays such attention to detail. Every candle and lamp is lit. Fresh greens in her centerpiece and the open book on the table adds such charm to this whole room.
